Just had "lunch" at Embers - first time there and was NOT disappointed! When I walked in the barbeque smell was like being transported back to Tennessee when I was there a few years ago. I was there with three other family members and we each had the brisket meal and it was to die for. The meat was so tender it was falling apart - and the side dishes were a good size, well prepared and tasty (between us we had Mac and Cheese, roasted potato and potato salad - so we all got a chance to try each one lol). The one thing that impressed me was that you could order ribs "naked" (no sauce) which was great for us as one of my sisters has a tomato allergy and quite often can't have a side of ribs because they're covered in barbeque sauce. That is on our list of things to try the next time we're there. The service was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. It's definitely on my list of restaurants to return to.
